Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team in Shrewsbury- Grange Primary.

We are looking for a dedicated Chef Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our catering operation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

Managing the day-to-day catering and kitchen operation

Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team

Preparing and delivering fresh, high-quality food to agreed standards

Planning menus and introducing innovative food concepts

Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Monitoring food costs and ensuring budget targets are achieved

Maintaining compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures

Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through quality service delivery

Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices across the operation

Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar management role

Strong culinary skills and a passion for food

Experience leading and developing kitchen teams

Financial awareness, including managing budgets, food costs, and stock control

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety legislation

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards

Relevant catering qualifications and Food Hygiene certification are desirable
