Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at The Oxford Academy, Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, OX4 6JZ . This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy school environment, supporting the catering team in delivering nutritious meals and excellent customer service to students and staff.

Job Description

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and dining facilities, helping to ensure a positive dining experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation and presentation of food

Serving meals and refreshments to students and staff

Replenishing food counters and service areas

Operating tills and handling transactions where required

Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas

Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties

Supporting stock rotation and food storage procedures

Following food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times

Delivering excellent customer service and working effectively as part of a team

What We're Looking For

Reliable and flexible approach to work

Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided

Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

Enhanced DBS check required

Must have the legal right to work in the UK
