Zero Hour Contract | Working As and When Required

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team in NP16 5LR on a zero hour contract. This flexible role is ideal for someone looking for work on an as-needed basis while being part of a friendly and supportive catering team.

As a Catering Assistant, you'll help deliver excellent food and customer service, supporting the smooth running of daily catering operations.

What you'll be doing

Serving food and beverages to customers in a professional and friendly manner

Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout service areas

Operating tills and handling customer transactions where required

Replenishing stock and ensuring service areas remain well stocked

Supporting the catering team during busy service periods

Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times

Assisting with setting up and clearing down service areas

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service is desirable but not essential

Passion for delivering excellent customer service

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Reliable, flexible, and adaptable approach to work

Ability to work well as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
