Location: King Henry School, NP7 6EP

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Term Time Only, 38 working weeks per year

We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at King Henry School in Abergavenny . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages

Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors

Operating tills and handling transactions where required

Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Cleaning dining areas, kitchen equipment, and service points

Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operations

Ensuring all company and client standards are met

A positive and professional attitude

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication skills

Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential

A willingness to learn and develop new skills
