Are you an experienced Business Project Manager who thrives on delivering change, driving accountability, and ensuring projects achieve measurable outcomes? Join Elysium Healthcare as Business Project Manager to support the successful delivery of strategic business projects across the organisation.
As a Business Project Manager, you will work closely with the Programme Lead to manage multiple projects and workstreams, translating business objectives into clear and achievable delivery plans. You'll be responsible for driving progress, coordinating stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll be expected to take ownership of project planning and execution, maintaining robust project documentation including plans, RAID logs, milestones, critical paths, and governance requirements. You won't simply monitor progress; you'll actively challenge barriers, resolve issues, and intervene where delivery is at risk to keep projects moving forward.
A key part of the role will involve managing and influencing senior stakeholders, workstream leads, and subject matter experts. You'll establish clear ownership and accountability for deliverables, facilitate focused delivery meetings, and confidently hold individuals to account for commitments, deadlines, and outcomes. Where progress stalls, you'll drive decisions, escalate risks, and provide practical recommendations to maintain momentum.
You'll also oversee project-related risks and compliance considerations, working alongside relevant specialists to identify, assess, and mitigate risks relating to people, employee relations, service users, legal requirements, and business operations. Ensuring consultation, engagement, and governance activities are built into project plans will be essential to successful delivery.
Beyond project planning and design, you'll lead projects through implementation and embedding, ensuring new processes, guidance, and ways of working are successfully integrated into business-as-usual operations. You'll assess operational readiness prior to go-live, support stakeholders through implementation, and monitor outcomes post-launch to ensure sustainable benefits are realised.
Key Accountabilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end project management of any allocated Projects or Programmes of activity
- Manage delivery across multiple workstreams, with clear plans, milestones, and dependencies
- Hold workstream owners to account for agreed outputs, timelines, and quality
- Drive standardisation and improvement of processes, procedures and governance where possible
- Maintain programme governance, reporting, RAID, and critical path control
- Secure decisions at pace and escalate where delivery is at risk
- Manage all risks related to projects or programmes of work
- Drive implementation and embed outputs into BAU
- Provide clear, decision-focused reporting to governance

- PRINCE2, Agile Change and/or equivalent qualification (D)
- Change management experience (stakeholder engagement, communications, training and adoption)
- Strong grip on project delivery mechanics: critical path, dependencies, RAID management, milestone tracking, and benefits realisation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain momentum in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Highly organised, methodical, and detail-driven, with a strong bias to action.
- Ability to manage and communicate well with all levels within the business, right up to Exec Sponsors whilst maintaining pace and integrity on the project/programme.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex, multi-workstream programmes. Demonstrated ability to drive execution and hold senior owners to account.
- Multi site/complexity business (sites, warehouses, stores, hospitals etc.. where a variety of workforce exists)
