Role description
Job summary
We are seeking 2 outstanding band 5 Audiologists to join our Audiology service who are keen to deliver patient-centred care. The service has recently undergone a service review and the development of a new clinical structure. Through good governance process the service aims to ensure that patients receive the highest quality, evidence - based hearing and balance services.
This is an exciting time to join our service as we continue to embed changes that improve outcomes and experiences for our patients. As an Audiologist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our adult service.

Main duties of the job
BSc in audiology or equivalent level qualification
Registered Audiologist with the HCPC or AHCS as a registered clinical physiologist or state registered clinical scientist, or in the process of registering
BAA accredited Certificate to Practice
Completed audiology Practitioner Training Programme or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to include ability to communicate with the hearing impaired and carers in emotional states and work effectively with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads and cover a busy and varied caseload
Good written communication skills
Good level of IT skills to include word processing, use of spreadsheets and databases
Evidence of continuing professional development
Ability to work at outreach clinics as required
