Job summary
This is a full time fixed term contract for 12 months. The role will involve working across three Hereford-based specialist services; Oak House Inpatient Rehabilitation, Assertive Outreach Team and Early Intervention in Psychosis Team.
We are passionate about promoting a psychological understanding of psychosis, emphasising the value of lived experience and ensuring trauma informed practice is central to everyone's thinking. We are looking for a psychology graduate eager to make a difference for people living with psychosis and their families.
The successful candidate will be part of our multidisciplinary teams, working under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist and Psychological Therapist to deliver individual and group psychologically-informed interventions. They will support the team with collation of outcomes measures, evaluation, audit and project work. There will also be opportunities to co-produce training alongside experts by experience, collaborate on team formulations and co-facilitate our psychoeducational groups for family members.
The post is ideally suited to psychology graduates hoping to go onto doctoral training as a practitioner psychologist.

Main duties of the job
The role will primarily involve supporting the clinical psychologist and psychological therapist in delivering interventions such as trauma stabilisation, coping with voices, emotion regulation skills and behavioural activation. The post-holder will also support in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Decider Skills group at Oak House.
We are passionate about supporting families and carers; we run a well-established carers psychoeducational group in Early Intervention and are developing carers groups both at Oak House and in Assertive Outreach. The post holder will support in the setting up of these groups through liaising with experts by experience, developing materials and supporting the delivery and evaluation of the groups.
The post holder will be supported to develop their psychological knowledge and skills and to gain experience of wider service provision as part of their journey of professional development. They will be part of a vibrant wider community of psychological practitioners in Herefordshire and will have access to CPD and other professional forums.
