Aramark UK are currently recruiting for an Assistant Cook to join our team in Woodstock, OX20 1LP.

Do you have a passion for food and enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team? We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operation, helping to prepare and serve high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food

Supporting the Chef Manager and catering team with daily kitchen operations

Preparing ingredients and ensuring food is ready for service

Serving customers in a professional and friendly manner

Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

Following food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times

Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and storage of food items

Supporting with washing up and general kitchen duties where required

Contributing to a positive team environment and delivering excellent customer service

Previous experience working in a catering, kitchen, or food service environment is desirable

A passion for food preparation and customer service

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is advantageous

Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
