Person Specification

Education/Qualification

Essential

• oRegistered First level nurse oMSc in Advanced Clinical Practice oNurse Prescribing qualification

Desirable

• oClinical based Masters degree oMentor Qualification

Experience

Essential

• oExperience of working with clients with complex needs oCompiling protocols and clinical guidance oAudit oExperience of working at a senior clinical nurse level

Desirable

• oResearch oExperience of developing nurse led clinic oEvidence of autonomous practice oExperience in service development

Knowledge

Essential

• oAdvanced Clinical Practice skills oManagement of service users with complex needs oClinical examination skills oAccountability of own role and other roles within the team. oKnowledge of Local and national health policy oExtensive knowledge of psychological, social and biological factors and formulating these into a comprehensive bio-psychosocial formulation and clinical risk management plans. oClinical supervision training and experience oExtensive knowledge and application in practice of leading complex adult safeguarding procedures, professional meetings, MHA, CPA, DOLs oFacilitate a culture of lifelong learning including involvement in the process of clinical supervision, AP student final sign off and appraisal. oExperience of coordinating & leading on a series of audits, action pans & projects
