Role description

About One Advisory

Established in 2006, we have grown to become one of the City’s leading advisory firms, providing comprehensive and cost-effective financial reporting and governance services to London-listed public companies. Our services have historically focused on companies with shares traded on the London Stock Exchange, but we also support private investor-backed businesses and other smaller private firms.

Our governance professionals support a diverse range of client types, from fast growing startups to long-established retailers, and everything in between. We sit in boardrooms, give advice on a range of topics including good governance practices and compliance matters. We help with corporate transactions, draft Annual Reports, shareholder documents and news announcements, manage shareholder meetings, arrange dividend approvals, and much more.

Our growing team needs capable support with operational matters, business development and marketing, event management, financial performance monitoring, data management and client onboarding AML/KYC processes, in addition to providing routine administrative support to the team.

As an Administrative Executive you will work primarily with the Governance team and (with the Operations Manager and the Team Assistant to the Financial Reporting team) provide broader ‘Central Services’ support across the whole One Advisory team. We were acquired by FRP Advisory Group in 2025, which brings opportunities to integrate with new systems and processes, and find new efficiencies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career in administration and operational support services within a professional services environment. The role will give exposure to a broad range of tools, processes and systems which are core to smooth and profitable operations and provide plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.

Arrange and coordinate meetings including booking meeting rooms, preparing agendas, and recording and following up on action points. Assist with various administrative tasks such as document formatting, data entry and maintaining records

Utilise Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools to improve document quality, consistency, and efficiency.

Work with the Marketing team to prepare newsletters, client communications, website content, and social media materials in line with One Advisory branding guidelines.

Be Involved in Business Development, Marketing & Compliance

Organise client events, networking activities, team social events, and other corporate events.

Support new client onboarding activities, including data collection, KYC and AML processes, client welcome packs and engagement letters.

Maintain opportunity, referral, and pipeline information within our customer relationship management (CRM) systems and support business development reporting activities.

Assist with the preparation of proposals, presentations, pitch documents, and marketing collateral.

Support our Financial Performance

Maintain accurate client records, databases, engagement documentation, and CRM systems.

Assist with tracking client contract renewals, fee review dates, and other key client milestones.

Prepare billing information and support invoice generation processes, ensuring client-specific billing instructions are followed

Assist with engagement letter updates, fee arrangements, recovery reporting, and debt collection processes.

Support the administration of time recording systems (Practice Engine, Xero Practice Manager), and related systems, and promote accurate time recording and reporting across the team.

Use standard templates to produce financial reports and management information.
