As the ADHD Non-Prescribing Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the ADHD clinical team which will include GPs and other health care professionals.
You will be responsible for acting within the professional boundaries to provide care for the service users including screening, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow up of care; demonstrating safe clinical decision making and expert patient care.

Clinical Care
Review
Clinical patient notes to determine the needs and complexity of symptoms which
may indicate the presence of ADHD.
Recognise
and appropriately escalate concerns relating to patient safety, clinical risk
or changes in a patient's condition.
Undertake
screening and checks of Blood Pressure, height, weight, BMI, urinalysis,
glucose monitoring and smoking status.
Undertake
phlebotomy.
Maintain
current competency and training in anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques.
Promote
health and well-being through the use of health promotion, health education,
screening and therapeutic communication skills.
Refer
to and work with the ADHD Liaison Officer

Ensure

understanding the role of Risk Management within the clinical setting and

report any actual or potential infection prevention and control risks to the
appropriate manager.
Maintain
